About Mt. Calvary Church
About our church
Mt. Calvary is small, family-friendly church in the Anglican/Episcopal tradition. Our parish community is such that you can easily get to know everyone after just a few services. We faithfully proclaim the catholic and apostolic faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 3), and as expressed in the Book of Common Prayer and the Anglican tradition.
Our liturgy is traditional and reverent. We use the Book of Common Prayer (1928) and the King James Bible (1611) for all of our services. Our services equally emphasize the preaching of the word and the celebration of the sacraments. Our rector is the Rev’d. Canon R.H. Tregenza, Ph.D.
We are a parish the Diocese of the Eastern United States (DEUS) of the Anglican Province of America. Our diocesan and presiding bishop is the Most Rev’d Walter H. Grundorf, D.D., and our suffragan bishop is the Rt. Rev’d Chandler H. Jones, SSC.
“LET us bless the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost: praise him, and magnify him for ever.” (Book of Common Prayer, p. 13)
